Which Bachelor's degree programmes are subject to a quota (Numerus Fixus)?
A selection procedure has been adopted for a number of Bachelor's degree programmes with a limited number of places.
By means of this selection procedure, the programme board assigns each prospective student a ranking number on the basis of a set criteria. The ranking number determines whether you will be offered a place. The national application deadline is 15 January. You can apply for a maximum of two degree programmes that use a selection procedure in Studielink in a given academic year. VU Amsterdam has adopted a quota for four of the degree programmes in the 2020-2021 academic year.
For the academic year 2020-2021, there are four Bachelor’s degree programmes with a Numerus Fixus selection procedure.
Only one of these programmes offers an English-taught track.
|Number of places||Max. number of times participating in the selection at VU Amsterdam*|
* The number of times you participated in the selection procedure before 2019 will be taken into account.
** The number of places for Psychology is the Dutch and English taught programme combined.
Further previous education requirements may be imposed for specific Bachelor's degree programmes. You can find information about any further requirements on the information page for the degree programme.
