Services from our International Office
International Student Advisors (ISA's)
If you have a specific question about applying for one of our international degree programmes with a non-Dutch diploma you can contact your programme's International Student Advisor (ISA). The ISA will be your main point of contact and can help with questions about the programme, admission requirements or application procedure. Every degree programme has its own International Student Advisor.
International Service Desk
The International Service Desk is the information desk for general questions for international students.
For questions regarding fulltime enrollment and tuition fees or to collect a student card you can visit the Student Desk.
Opening hours and location:
Monday to Friday from 13.00-15.00h. Location: ground floor, main building (HG), next to the Student Desk and IT Desk.
Immigration Services for students
When you are a citizen of a non-EU country, you need to complete the immigration procedure before you can start your studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Our Student Immigration Service will apply for the required immigration documents on your behalf.

We offer an online introduction in August where you can get to know your fellow students. We will also provide you with practical information about steps to take once you arrive. The programme for Bachelor's and Master's slightly differs:
