Anthropology studies the relationship between global developments and local processes. Students will learn that religion, ethnicity, identity, and male/female relationships are closely interwoven with economics, politics, and other power relations. In this minor you compare different societies and cultural phenomena and learn to understand the world from the perspective of the other. You will study the core themes of anthropology and use them to engage with current issues such as globalization, migration and urbanization.
